We understand the problem

Your market is saturated.

Smaller providers compete with much larger firms, and everyone uses the same words about speed, cost and systems. Standing out takes more than buzzwords.

01

Nobody knows you exist.

People can’t choose or recommend a business they’ve never heard of.

02

Everyone sounds the same.

Fast • Reliable • Cost-effective • Tech-led

When every competitor says it, your real differences disappear.

We hear it every week.

03

The right people are hard to find.

Candidates who don’t know what the job involves are the ones who don’t turn up, or leave in week one.

04

Training changes shift to shift.

Induction and safety messages vary with whoever delivers them, across shifts and sites.

We’ve done this before

We’ve worked inside logistics.

Warehouses, depots, cross-docks and fleets. We know how a live site runs, and what the people who run them need from video.

“I have worked with Scott Benzie for close to 18 years, and in that time the quality, flexibility and responsiveness of Scott and his team have never wavered. We have partnered with Chocolate Cake on a wide range of projects, and they consistently bring the same breadth of skill, adaptability and expertise, always delivering work of the highest standard. I could not recommend them more highly.”

“Like many people, we were nervous about being in front of the camera at first. But the Chocolate Cake Media team quickly put us at ease. From the start, we were clear that our objective was to grow awareness and engagement on social media. Chocolate Cake Media really listened, came in with clear, tailored solutions, and delivered exactly what we needed. Since working with them, we’ve seen a big increase in our social media following and engagement, and around 20% growth in leads.”

We know how a site works.

Ten years of filming in warehouses, cross-docks and yards means we already understand the job.

And there’s more

Video that keeps working once you’re seen.

Once people know who you are, the same footage can help you hire, train and win work.

Recruit with clarity.

Show candidates the site, the shifts, the kit and the people before they apply. The ones who turn up know what they’re signing up for.

Train with confidence.

Turn your best trainer’s explanation into a film every shift sees the same way.

  • • Inductions
  • • Health and safety
  • • Process and MHE training

Build trust.

Take buyers onto your floor without the site visit. Show the operation, the systems and the team that will run their account.

Ho ho ho.
Kuehne+Nagel: A Festive Move to Minworth

Big news, with a bit of Christmas fun.

Moving site is a big moment for any logistics operation. For Kuehne+Nagel’s move to Minworth, we made a festive film to mark it.

Video doesn’t always have to be serious to do its job. A light-hearted film gets watched, shared and remembered by your people and your customers.

How it works.

  1. 1Planning call.
Tell us about the site and the problem.
  2. 2Brief and plan.
Message, shot list, schedule and site needs agreed in writing.
  3. 3Filming day.
Worked around your shifts and site rules.
  4. 4Edit and deliver.
Changes agreed in the brief, then files ready for every channel.

Start wherever you are.

You might have a clear brief, an early idea, or just a feeling that recruitment, training or awareness needs work. All three are a good place to start.

A single project.

One film with a clear job, from recruitment to a customer case study.

A content plan.

A wider plan covering what to film, where it runs and in what order.

An ongoing partner.

Regular filming across sites and teams, so you always have something new to show.

Questions logistics teams ask us.

Can you film without stopping the operation?

Yes. We plan the day around your shifts, pick times when each area is quieter and work with your site team on where we can and can’t stand. Most of the time the operation carries on around us.

Do you work to our site rules?

Yes. We’ll do your induction, wear the PPE you need and follow your walkways and exclusion zones around MHE. Send us your site rules before the shoot and we’ll build them into the plan.

Can our own people be in it?

We’d recommend it. Candidates and customers trust real colleagues far more than actors. We’ll help anyone nervous about being on camera feel comfortable.

Can you film across more than one site?

Yes. We’re based in Loughborough, close to the M1 and the Golden Triangle, and film for clients across the UK.

Can you shoot from the air?

Yes. We fly our own drone for yard, fleet and building shots, subject to site permission and airspace rules.

How long does a project take?

It depends on how many sites and films are involved. We’ll give you a clear timeline on the planning call.

Let’s get logistics moving.

Book a video planning call. Bring a role you can’t fill, a process people keep getting wrong, or a site you want customers to see.

You’ll leave the call knowing what the film should say, who it’s for and how we’d make it.
